Minor Hockey Week underway

This week the Deer Lake Minor Hockey Assocation, along with all other minor hockey associations across the province, are celebrating Minor Hockey Week.

For the Deer Lake U12 girls it is turning out to be a very busy week.

It started with a tournament in Botwood last Saturday where the girls brought home a bronze medal, and this coming weekend they will be hosting a tournament at the Hodder Memorial Recreation Complex.

On Tuesday night, the girls had a practice at the stadium to prepare them for their weekend tournament.

For the Deer Lake U12 girls it is turning out to be a very busy week.
