Now, it appears they’re working on building a dynasty.

Clarence Bennett broke a 1-1 tie in the 85th minute at Wellington Street Sports Complex on Saturday, lifting the Monarchs to an eventual 2-1 triumph over Clancy’s Pub in the Corner Brook Molson Senior Men’s Soccer League championship game.

Jeff Young recorded the other goal for the victors, finding the back of the net in the 55th minute.

Clancy’s had led up until that point, courtesy of a goal by Greg Keats at the 26-minute mark.
